Audio to Visual Translator
Why This Project Is Important
About two to four of every 1000 people in the United States are "functionally deaf." Anywhere from nine to 22 out of every 1000 people have a severe hearing impairment or are deaf. The business venture is to create an audio to visual translator. As people age and become more susceptible of high order noise during their youth, more people are developing hearing disabilities and many are not trained to use sign language.
Project Description
This product would be consumed with a one time purchase of eyeglasses and a monthly application subscription. Advanced algorithm would be used to convert the words floating around into text and in-turn would be transferred to a projector mounted on eye glasses. This projector would then be projecting letters onto glasses. The experience would be much in the same way as we have for our subtitles in movies. The inabilities of other people would not be identified, thereby advertising as a social campaign.
